Return Shipping Question

Purchased a laptop and it was damaged in shipping. It was shipped USPS Priority Mail. When I file a claim will this get returned to the seller Priority Mail or will it go some other class of mail. It is too heavy needless to say for First Class Mail.

Second part has to do with the packaging. Who in their right mind in this day and age is going to reuse a PS4 box and not at least cross out the PS4 logos. A PS4 is prime porch pirate pickings.

Along with that all that was used for packing was 6-7 thin Walmart bags and they were laying in the bottom of the box.

Enclosed are photos of the box and how it was packed for shipping. Last photo shows the packing supplies ( Walmart bags) that were used to protect the laptop.

Obviously it is being returned in the same box using the same Walmart bags.

Obviously it is being returned in the same box using the same Walmart bags.  And you are well within your rights and responsibilities to use the exact same packaging to return the item. After all, your seller thought it was appropriate packaging, right?

Re: Return Shipping Question

Keep packing  and package,  put it all back in the package. File an item not as described case against the seller.

Wait for a return label, and go to the PO and make sure the item is scanned before you let them take it to ship.

Re: Return Shipping Question

Return item along with all original packing materials, & add additional packing materials to protect the item so to minimize risk of further damage during return transit.

It's the right thing to do.
