Hoping this is the right place...
I shipped an item and during transit it broke, refunded the buyer immediately however am now being charged a second shipping amount as it appears the buyer send me back the item which I requested him not to.
I'm out double what I paid for shipping. Am I crazy to think that's **bleep**? I never once said I wanted back the item, refunded the buyer and now this.

Did you accept return and purchase shipping label?
or did you simply refund?
can you sell the damaged item at a reduced price or fix it?

I simply refunded, did not accept a return or purchase a label.
On 11/28 I refunded $33 and $4 fee credit sent $29 back to the buyer. Then today I see another deduction for the same item for $26 which was never approved and I have no clue what it's for if $29 already went back to the buyer.

In my advance rules I have it set to not accept the return and to keep.

Have you done this before selecting both options 1 and 2:
or just making it up as you go along?

All I have done in my advanced rules was set the return preferences there. In this instance the buyer did not "request" a return he simply messaged me saying the item was broken. I then went in and refunded the money based on damaged while shipping.
I did not have that screen/prompt appear.
