hi

 

I sold a computer to a buyer in Greece and shipped the device and it was well packaged. Where the shipping was economical and delivery time between two to three weeks and after shipping the device you added the tracking number. Ten days later the buyer opened a case in PayPal that the item had not arrived and the tracking number was wrong.

After 22 days the buyer received the item and the subject was changed the item arrived damaged

After the buyer's question, did the device arrive damaged. Where he replied that the device did not arrive damaged since there is no broken parts such as screens or cracks in the device, but he sent a picture showing that the device stuck on welcome logo and after a period he sent a message that the device does not work and after a period he sending a message that there are lines on the screen

The buyer requested a partial refund of the money and kept the machine and I refused the offer
 
The question is that the value of the item is $ 700 and the shipping is $ 40 and I am sure that the device was working good please experts advice me what i can do i lose ebay fees 74$ and shipping fees 40$ and the device itselef ( defective ) and return shipping and may be customs fees .
i dont know if buyer damage the device or device was arrived damaged. please i need advice

paypal decision was for buyer favor

We've been reviewing a case your buyer filed against you and decided the best course of action is to have them return your merchandise. Once we have confirmed the merchandise has been delivered to you, we will issue your buyer a 740,00 $ USD refund from your PayPal account. If this refund makes your balance negative, please log in to your PayPal account and add money to your balance. "

 

what i can do now ???

in this case i lost device itself becuse it is now defective +40$ shipping + 74$ ebay fees + unkown fees for customs of jordan 

 

Is this fair?

i contacted ebay cusomer service chat and they told me to ask buyer if he opened the device or not 

what i shoud do in this case??

"measurements using an infrared thermometer, and a thermal camera test.He also said to me that the processor is bad and there were certainly sings of it before you shipped it to me like increasing temperature without reason and not normal ventilation. IF you changed mind, refund me and i will give positive feedback although this transaction was disgusting"

that sounds like a very unhappy buyer with legitimate complaints. I would say refund after return, then send him a feedback revision form to change his feedback.

any advice??

This is “feedback extortion” and is extremely against eBay’s rules. Contact eBay and let them know about this  message and they will definitely remove the negative feedback.

Every time I try to contact the ebay customer service they always tell me to communicate with the paypal customer service because they do not show that there is a problem in the transaction and the case that the buyer opened in paypal does not show up for them

You need to just accept the return. Once you get the item back, come back for advice.
