I sold item and shipper shipped wrong item. Buyer wanted replacement, which I have done. My question is: How do I let Ebay know this so they know I don't need to make refund?

You can't. Assuming that your buyer opened a case on eBay, there is likely dialog between you and the buyer indicating that you agreed to ship a replacement ... but, since you have not been involved with the shipping of the item, then you have no idea what is going on. It is up to the buyer to validate whether or not a correct replacement was received.
By the way, because of what is happening with you and lots of other customer service issues, drop shipping from a retailer is prohibited on eBay. Here is the policy that popped up on or around January of 2019:

If you are discovered, eBay may take actions to curtail your selling, and may even suspend your account ... lots of sellers have had their accounts terminated since the first of the year.
