Label prited but item not sent

Hi there,

I have bought an  item last wednesday (March 27) with expected delivery friday (March 29). Tracking it online with ups I could see that the label was created but the item was waiting to be sent.

I contacted the seller on friday (date of expected delivery) and I only got a reply today (april 1st) that "was found to have been damaged. They placed another order with the supplier and we are waiting for the new lens stock to come in."

I have asked to cancel my order but, without an answer I have sent a request through ebay to be refunded.

Has anyone have ever had this type of problems?

Yes.  Sometimes sellers are out-of-stock on an item ... it doesn't happen a lot, but it does sometimes.  The seller would be wise to cancel the purchase since you requested a cancellation.

the seller actually cancelled the transaction and I got refunded!
