How can I remove my phone number from my shipping labels????? Please no smart a$$ answers - cross off with sharpie, put FedEx or ebay #, or all 0000s (won't work). I called customer service and they couldn't figure it out - they said to call back when I print my next label. There must be SOMEBODY ANYBODY who ships ebay who has an answer! Google searches and ebay forums are have not provided a fix! When editing shipping address, they DO NOT ALLOW THIS FIELD TO BE LEFT BLANK OR ALL ZEROS. Is there ANYBODY who can fix this as of JAN 2022?
Please help !

Get a free Google Voice phone number and use it instead of your personal phone number in your eBay account settings. The Google Voice number can point to your personal phone number if you want.

Well I guess thats a long way around the barn solution, but if a customer has an issue, I want ALL communications to go thru eBay messages. So there is NO way to print a shipping label with just my address ???

I do not see my number on address labels or packing slips, but I looked in my settings.
In MY EBAY --> MANAGE COMMUNICATIONS WITH BUYER Way at the bottom it says "Share your phone number", check to see if it says "YES" or "NO", mine is set to NO.

My phone number has never once showed up on any of my labels. There must be an opt out option you haven't run across yet. Look in manage communications with buyers and see if you can select no. Best of luck to you....

Thank you for your reply and advice, unfortunately my setting for "share your phone number" was already set to no.

Hours and hours on the phone with several agents including someone in escalations and someone from the selling team - nobody has a clue! I really think she made up this line when she told me oh it's a problem with the system there's nothing we can do about it now - I asked for a technical ticket to be generated be generated - I got nothing I don't understand how people deal with problems with eBay They are literally so large that nobody knows what's going on. How do you contact ANYONE with ebay technical knowledge?

Are you referring to international labels, perhaps? Those require phone numbers for both buyer and seller. I've never seen my own phone number appear on a domestic label. (Which carrier are you using?)

Mostly FedEx ground. I used to be an international seller in 2014-2016 and just resumed selling now. My international sales setting is turned off.
At this point I am only shipping to the US. In addition to the phone number next to my name, it says US under the city state which seems dumb if the pkg is not leaving the US. Ebay told me all manner of strange things, like the system is requiring your phone number, its there for the customer to contact you if there is an issue, and a lot of stuff I think they just made up. I am really frustrated.

There is your answer. FedEx and UPS require a phone number in case there is a problem with the delivery.
Interesting since 2004 when I started I have only been called by FedEx once due to a problem.
One possibility: When I did not have the buyer's phone number (a sale through my own website) I put my own in the buyer's field and it accepted it with no problem.
Since eBay shows the buyers phone number in the sales ticket try putting the buyer's phone number in your location (obviously you would have to retype it with each order) but if it is that important to you .....

Some carrier requires a telephone contact. I recall that USP does - not certain about FedEx - never used them.

Cross it off with a sharpie?

I noticed this today for the first time. Here is what I did.
My eBay --> Account --> Addresses --> Ship from Address --> changed the phone number to 123-456-7890
I would also do the same on the Return Address.
That way my phone number on my account stays intact but the number on the label isn't my real number. If there is a delivery issue they can always call the buyer's number on the label.

Unfortunately there is NOT a way to remove the phone number.
When I ship USPS my phone number doesn't appear on the label.

That wouldn't go over well if you ship UPS or Fedex they require your phone number in case there's an issue with delivery.
