Refund did not arrive to my paypal account

Dear Ebay Friends, Please help. I have received a message that I have been issued a refund by the seller, but I have no trace of it on my paypal account. Here is refund status on Ebay: The seller is giving you a full refund. You should receive it soon. Select View refund status for more information. When I click on View Refund Status, I see this: The seller refunded to your original payment method in PayPal. PayPal transaction  XXXXXXXXX. When I go to my paypal, I see no trace of this transaction or this amount. The message that says I was given refund is dated 15th of January, today is 23d of January, still no trace of this refund anywhere.Paypal has not given any answer yet, just sent a FAQ copy paste)). Please advise if you had similar situation. Thank you!Nick

Just gotta say I agree with you as I am still waiting on a refund and can NOT get any status on the refund.  For me, the solution for the future is simple, do not buy from anyone with less than 100 positive feedbacks and NEVER buy anything on Ebay that costs more that $10.  If you are a seller, you are protected, if you are a buyer you are not.  I purchased a tablet for $110 and now do not have the tablet, do not have my money, and can not figure out how to pursue a legal complaint to Ebay.  What to do?

The refund should be how you paid . . . if you used a debit card, that is where the refund will be, cc, same, bank account, again this is where the refund amount would be.  

Check your payment source for the refund.
