I have a customer who purchased two separate items and paid shipping for both. I am trying to send them a partial refund for shipping and when I go under the item and click "send refund" it appears as if I am refunding them for the entire item. I've read other posts and they mention it says shipping adjustment or there is a shipping refund button, but I am not seeing it. Am I missing something?

click next
choose a reason.
review, verify, submit
transaction will remain in your sales

I was worried that the system would treat it as if I was refunding the item and then erase it from my sales. Will it keep the item in my orders? I should've mentioned that.

When you went to the item and clicked 'send refund'; why are you saying it 'appears it would do a full refund' when there is nothing that would look like that?
