Recent problem with USPS shipping.

Lately within the span of a week and a half I've had 3 shipments through USPS not arrive on time. Two first class and one priority two of which were never scanned and I opened a case on the priority one it and it was just now delivered, almost a week late. I'm getting people accusing me of not shipping the items when it's not my fault, I shipped on time but the post office dropped the ball.

Now I have someone who opened a case on me, the item shows tracking but it's just in a loophole as it shows shipping to next location on the 13th but the buyer is in the same state as me, he should've had it within 1-2 days now it's a week later. I've opened missing mail cases on the two first class items and I'm just wondering if it's bad luck on my part or is anyone else having these kinds of problems?

Another thing is, why is it that when someone opens a case on you there's no link to the order details? I have to now hunt down the sale. It's pretty irritating.

Re: Recent problem with USPS shipping.

We are in the same Cruise ship.

If your packages travel thru the Memphis TN usps sorting facility and are headed west or north there seems to be a issue starting on January 4th thru the 10th at that location. Mainly Jan 4th and 7th shipments.

My post office is tight lipped on the matter.

We have had no issues with packages heading east or south as of yet.

We are in Atlanta Ga.

Buyers are opening up inquiries dailey and most say they understand or they don't. Funny thing is it would be quicker to contact the seller than open a inquiry thru a company that has never once stepped a foot thru my door.

1. Reference pkgs. not being scanned. Are your items being picked up or are you dropping them off? I suggest reporting this to the post master to try and prevent repeats of this happening in either case. We have been so very lucky for years, printing labels at home and dropping the pkgs. off at the end of the counter our post office has designated for that purpose and walking out the door. No waiting in line which also means not seeing the items scanned but also no receipt. So far, in several years, no problems.

2. It just seems wrong to get informed that someone filed a case against you and then giving you no information. No item number? No nothing?

........................................

Today I will not judge.

Indeed... the USPS officially expects every trackable package to be scanned in at Acceptance time. Your local PO is dropping the ball. Our local PO occasionally misses one, but it still gets an Accepted at Origin Sort scan once it reaches the local sort facility in the evening.

I would expect to see something showing on my Orders page for that item, indicating that there's a case open. I don't think dispute notifications are that free of context that you can't tell which item they're referring to, are they? Posting a screenshot might be helpful if you can.

I am a pro at Usps shipping so slow here in Texas it is always slow Not sure why.. Try to Locate missing mail at usps. if it was shipped 7 days ago it will let you open this.. I do this for my incoming package and outgoing when they seem to be stuck..it helps.. Here is the link https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
Hope this helps.
