Received a defect for not uploading tracking on time.

I received a shipping defect for not uploading tracking on time - I use Ebay shipping! I figure there was some mistake - called eBay the first time, they said they would do an appeal, after 72 hour wait nothing happen- called the 2nd time and the gentleman said since it does not affect my selling there was nothing he or anyone else could do, he was a supervisor - waited 2 days and called again and it was removed in 2 hours. Each person stated that they could see that I use eBay shipping and it showed that the tracking and shipping was on time, they couldn't explain why the system gave me a defect. My question: Why did it take 3 phones over several days to remove the defect and why 3 different answers?

CS is known to not give correct information.

I cannot think of any reason I would ever call CS.

They like to tell you anything you want to hear to get you off the phone and a good one is "someone will call you back"
