Unfortunately, there isn't anyway you can prove your bag is authentic and in these types of cases eBay will always rule in the buyer's favor. Last year I sold a small Gucci handbag which my buyer claimed it looked fake. I had the original receipts for the purchase but there really isn't anyway to prove it. So just have to take the return and refund your buyer.

You might not want to accept it, but if buyer says the item is fake and files an INAD, not much you can do but accept the return and provide return shipping.

The other option is to refund without requiring a return of the item. This might make sense if the return shipping is far in excess of the value of the original item.
Should you want the item back, you will likely not be able to provide a return shipping label to the customer and so the customer will need to give you a quote on trackable shipping back to your location, and then you would provide money for the return to the buyer through their PayPal account.

You will always lose a case if the buyer says it's not authentic. You have to accept the return to keep from getting a defect.

Worse still (and another reason to not be concerned with getting the item back) is a scam where buyer has fakes, claims the original is a fake and sends the fake back for the return. Ebay can only stop such a scammer if they note an excessive number of returns for similar items.

I understand that you are concerned about continuing to sell your bags here. First, no one but you knows whether your MCM bags are actually authentic. If in fact, they are authentic perhaps you should check the feedback your buyer leaves for their sellers. If you see that they have a lot of comments about returns, refunds, or other negative comments that may clue you in that you have a problem buyer. Also selling your bags internationally it can be quite expensive when you do get returns. So this is something only you can decide. You are likely to continue having problems because you are still not specific in describing the type of defects that your bags have. Just saying the bag has defects and providing a few pictures is not enough to protect you from returns.

You must know for certain that your bags are authentic in order to sell them here. Are you certain that they are? Your MCM bags are going for $20+ and if you are paying less than that, I suspect that they may not be authentic since even used MCM's tend to sell for more than that.

Totally correct, but I wonder how this is done if the seller is using only ebay mangled payments, and the seller, buyer, or both do not have a paypal account?

You Best do a quick return. "The customer is always right".

Alas! Such claims become "he said, she said" things and eBay doesn't want to get involved with taking sides. You need to accept the return, pay the return shipping and move on. Don't forget to put them on your BBL.

I questioned the authenticity of his bags as well. Especially since he stated he was not buying from stores but a "Second Market" I sold a Cognac MCM Visetos belt for $150. and a good used backpack runs significantly higher. I looked and the OP no longer has any current listings.
