Hello - quick story + question. I have recently been ordering a lot of items through 1 seller. Maybe 3-4 weeks ago, I had to return 3 items (1 defective) and it was my first time returning - I printed out all the shipping labels and put all the items in 1 box. I thought I would save the seller money and didn't think mattered so I only put 1 shipping label on the box. Because of the quarantine, when I went to the post office, the Postal worker told me to put the package to the side and she would scan it in. I had a question about the different items in the same box, but there was a long line so i didn't get to ask. Well, there was no issue with that return apparently -because I saw the status as shipped the same night and less than a week later I got my refund.
This week I had to return 2 more items. These 2 items were also ordered together and came in the same box before (with 2 other items so 4 total). So this time when I try to return them, the seller provided me 2 return labels again. I thought I could do what i did before and put both items in the box, and 1 shipping label on the box, but this time the USPS worker weighed it while i was still there and said it was too heavy and I need to ship Priority. Again there was a huge line so they told me i would have to start over so i went home.
Question - Can i put the other return label on the same box, or do I have to take one of the items out and put it in a new box with the other label? Thanks!

Is it a Return Service label or a regular label? If it's a return service label then the USPS clerk was wrong to refuse it.
No, you cannot put 2 labels on the same box. Yes, you should pack and ship the items separately if for no other reason than your eBay buyer protection will be easier to manage.

...if the seller provided you 2 returned shipping labels then do what it was supposed to be...
...you didn't have to pay for returning postage, why bother...???
...in matter fact that the eBay can close your return case in favor of the seller base on only one returned shipment was made...
