Hi,
I've tried to figure this out on my own and have just threw my hands up in defeat, I have to be missing something.
I know that FedEx shipping is an estimate and that the whole charge will be taken out at a later time. I understand that. What I dont understand is how I'm supposed to reconcile what package an extra 7.49 is being charged for. Am I just supposed to trust Ebay?
I've gotten extremely slow this past month and a half so I'm noticing it more.
I'll give you an example so you can see what I mean in case I'm not being clear.
I sold two items last week. I printed my two shipping labels for them and then today there was a notification that my money would be deposited, It seemed slightly low so I checked and there was a 7.49 fee.

I'm assuming it was sent USPS, right? Sounds like a charge for underestimating the weight or size of something you sent. The PO will bill eBay for anything like that and then eBay takes it from you. Did you maybe send something that was oversized, or sent Media Mail that shouldn't have been?

I dont think I've underestimated. I mean I guess it's possible but I cant think of a specific incident. I will be extra vigilant about weights and measurements and see if that changes anything. Thank you for your help.
I'm pretty sure I've never sent anything that I wasn't supposed to with media mail. I try and do everything the correct way but ill double check my self to be sure.
I do ship USPS,UPS,and FEDEX. I'd say 60% usps 30% fedex and 10% UPS.
I wish I could figure this out, its driving me crazy:)

Contact ebay and tell them to tell you what it was for. If they cannot say then demand that is removed. They need to tell you what it was for.
