Question about FVF on shipping

I recently was having some thoughts about selling my laptop on eBay.

If I put a, let's say, $30 shipping fee on my laptop, while the listing price for the laptop is $1500, will eBay take 4% off the two prices combined ($1530) or 4% off $1500 and some percentage off $30 for shipping? If the latter is true, what percentage of the shipping price does ebay take?

They will take 4% of the total amount of the sale. Its split into 2 increments--4% of the item price when the listing ends and 4% of the shipping cost when the buyer pays.
