I have another thread on this situation, but things have evolved after I already marked it as solved. So please pardon my new post if it bothers you.
I bought an item with stated free USPS Priority Mail shipping. Item showed Fast 'N Free, but was marked "Guaranteed" by eBay after the purchase. Seller shipped within 1 business day of purchase. Item was delivered yesterday, 6 days past "Guaranteed" delivery date. The item would have most likely arrived on time if the seller had used the stated shipping method (Nevada to Arizona), but the seller shipped using USPS Parcel Select Ground.
Item is as described. Would you give this seller something other than positive feedback? Is a Neutral appropriate. Or should it be a Negative feedback. I can only remember giving out one, maybe two, negative feedbacks in 14 years on eBay.
Thank you for your thoughts.

If I understand correctly, if it's part of the ebay "delivery guaranteed" program you can get some kind of voucher (in the case of free shipping)for future purchase to "make good" for the late delivery. Did ebay do that for you?
As for the seller, if it was me I might just leave no feedback since the item itself was as described.

Thank you for your response.
At first, I was not going to report the item as "late" on my purchase history page. However, when I saw the shipping method was not as stated in the listing, I did report it "late" and choose the $5.00 eBay voucher. Maybe if eBay hands out enough of these vouchers on behalf of the seller they will check and see what this seller is doing?
I have not left any feedback yet...maybe because I am a seller, it is bothering me to leave anything but a positive. Could be one of the situations, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

File the guaranteed delivery claim - get the voucher or the shipping refund. Were it me, I'd probably not leave feedback since the item was as described and they did actually ship it quickly, although using a slower method (which probably cost them more money anyway if they used an Ebay label).
Sellers should stick to the shipping method in the listing IMO.

I agree with you. I did not need the item super fast. I guess I will just leave it up to the next buyer to leave feedback. Maybe they will need the same item fast and not be happy about the switcheroo on the shipping method.
