Purple Signature Confirmation Labels

If you print a USPS label on Ebay and add signature confirmation and would like to add a purple signature confirmation label to the package, how would you input the tracking number that is on the purple signature confirmation label, so that it matches the tracking number on the label that is printed by Ebay?

Also have a question of how this would work at a Self Service Kiosk at the post office. If you have a purple signature confirmation label attached to the package, is it possible to input that tracking number from the purple label into the kiosk, so the same tracking number is printed on the label?

I just think it would be nice to add that purple signature confirmation label because it makes it more obvious that a signature is required.

Re: Purple Signature Confirmation Labels

Those signature confirmation stickers are bright pink.

You can't use them with online printed postage.

One of the purple signature confirmation labels (that have a tracking number on them), which you can either pickup at the post office or order from the USPS website. See link below for a photo and information about it.

If you buy your label thru ebay, you wouldn't need the purple

signature label.

Re: Purple Signature Confirmation Labels

I know it is not needed/required. I just would like to add it on there, as it makes it obvious that the package requires a signature.

You can't add it on there.  Your eBay label already has a tracking number.  The Signature Confirmation label you are looking at has its own, different tracking number.  Don't mess with the tracking numbers by adding a second one onto your package.

There is also no need to add another label to make it obvious - the package cannot be scanned as delivered without a signature.  The scanner will ask for it and will not continue without it.  If you still feel the need to make it obvious that the package requires a signature then circle the tracking barcode with a bright colored highlighter.
