Problem with Parcels from the Philippines Bound for the US

Help, anyone! Many of my parcels that I shipped from the Philippines to the US starting towards the end of May are still in transit up to now with most of the statuses of these unchanged or are showing that they have been dispatched TWICE. I read in a forum in Facebook concerning our postal service called Philippine Post that the problem is with either the USPS or the US Customs. People say that either one of these two have become very strict in admitting parcels going to the US.

Does anyone have the same experience, especially those who are sending to the US from abroad? If yes, do you know the reasons for these delays and what I can do to avoid these?

Thank you, in advanced, to those who could offer any ideas and help!

You should have at least indicated the content of the packages. Did you check  the list of prohibited items? If you didn't fill out the customs form correctly, this will cause delays (e.g. the commodity code, an 8-digit number). If the value of the content is less than $800, there are no additional duties/taxes. Also, the description of the content has to be very specific, e.g. if you mail a shirt, it should say shirt, not clothing etc. Did you also affix the packing slip or the hipping manifest (usually you insert them in a transparent sleeve and affix to the box)?

Does the tracking show that the packages at least arrived at the US customs? If not, the problem seems to be with Philippine Post. Generally, USPS is quite reliable and the danger of stealing your packages while in the possession of the USPS is very low. You need to provide more detail, incl the tracking numbers, or provide the screenshots of the tracking events.
