Problem printing correct label size.

Hello,

I just bought a new printer which is the QL-820NWB from brother. The label settings are correct 62mm x 170mm and the sample prints perfectly. My problem is that every time I print a label, it prints on half the sheet. I have changed the setting on the bottom left of the page to 2" x 7" and the sample prints perfectly.

Is there anything am missing on? I checked on you tube and one gentleman pointed out that I should not just open the file, I should download the label and it should print the correct one but it didn't.

I appreciate any feedback from anyone.

This happened to me with my Cannon printer  a time or two but other times it would print normal size. If the label was sent in landscape, it would print full page , if the  label was sent portrait, it would print right. Even going into printer settings and setting it to portrait didnt help. Never did figure out how to fix that issue. One label I had to wrap the thing around the entire package because of it printing the whole page, but, it got shipped  lol

I just concluded it was how the  label was sent and I was basically locked out of changing anything, so I went with it

These were return labels I was printing, so they  were sent to me through ebay

This is a recent ebay glitch. The current work around is to use ebay Bulk Shipping, even for a single label. You can also print from PayPal by selecting the correct label format.
