As long as I can remember .. There was a "button" about 1/3 of the way down the listing (just above the description, on the right side) that allowed you to choose one of 3 options for printing out your item listing.
I always printed out a copy of the listing and included it in the package with the item. Today I went to do the same thing and the "Print" button was gone. Why ? This tool is of GREAT use. I used it for EVERY sale I made. I called eBay customer service and they had no answer. The only suggestion was to do use the "Print Screen" option on my computer. This isn't as good as the eBay Print Listing because it includes info that isn't useful to the buyer and it doesn't leave the proper space I used to mark the item Paid In Full and a Thank You for your purchase note.
How can I / we let eBay know how important this button was ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks in Advance,

Just realized that this only works on INDIVIDUAL sold items. Sold one of an item that was (10) available and the VIEW PURCHASED ITEM link isn't there. What gives ? eBay ! Bring back the simple PRINT button.

I went to the item page and did not see "View Purchased Item" in the upper left corner. Can you provide more specifics? I REALLY need this function for tracking purchases with full documentation.
Thanks.

Doesn't seem that this still works. What is the matter with eBay? Don't they want people to continue buying and selling? I've purchased NOTHING since I found out they had taken away my ability to document major transactions. This absolutely the most assinine thing they've done yet.

>> I'm curious what the use of the printouts might be. I buy (and sell) a lot of stuff on eBay, too, and haven't printed out a listing in years. Am I overlooking
>> something?
Yes. For most of the items I purchase (collectibles, gold bullion and gold nuggets), the detail and pictures provided in the full listing is part of the provenance when you sell the item to someone else. It is also very necessary support when you you make a profit on turning the item and then have to pay your income taxes to the IRS. If I can't prove that the item I sold is the item I bought at the price I claimed, the IRS sets the basis to $0 and I have to pay taxes on the total sales price. I have stopped buying on eBay since my last purchase, which occurred on the day this change occurred. If I can't document my purchases properly, I simply won't purchase. I'm sure there are many others like me who will stop buying on eBay until they stop messing with the features we need to support our purchases.
We've been through this before and made the same arguments ... the feature was returned back then. What has changed now that makes eBay think this buyer requirement is suddenly less important than it was a few years ago?

Just tried this approach and it worked fine, but I'll have to remember to only buy one item at a time in future.

You can print out your listing by opening the listing, right click on the listing and a print option is available. Prints the page out just fine.

You can print out your listing by opening the listing, hit right click and a pop up shows with the option to print the listing. I just showed another seller how to do this and he suggested I put this in the ebay community pages. So I did. Have a great day. Rick eBay Customer Service Rep.

To print a listing, open the listing, hit right click on your mouse, a pop up opens with a print option which prints the listing out.

Nice try OLDHONU but this is one one of about twenty suggestions that have been put forward that have been second guessed by eBay ....God bless 'em !!
The only one that I have found to work is.... If you have bought an auction item (NOT BIN) that has had more than one bidder left click on the number of bids of the bought item ( small number in brackets). On the next page page you should see on the right hand side "LEAVE FEED BACK" and below it "MORE ACTIONS". Left click "MORE ACTIONS". You should then see "VIEW PURCHASED ITEM". Left click and the print page should appear with ALL the options that we require. Hope this works. I expext eBay will stop this method fairly tout suite ! God bless 'em again.!
And will people PLEASE stop telling us that we don't really to PRINT our expensive purchase details at all. I re -cycle non stop and the 3/4 sheets of A4 that will be used have been hard earned by myself !
I ....thannnnk you.
