I chose courier delivery to sell an item. However I ended up posting through RM instead. 
How can I remove the eBay “post now” notification please?

You just need to mark the item as Shipped. That will tell eBay that you have shipped the item to your customer.

Next to that item in your sold history, there should be an add tracking link. Click on that to add the courier tracking number.That will also automatically show the item as having been shipped.
