I mailed three packages Yesterday 1-24-23, all are showing delivered today, all are being sent several states away, buyers are confused. The post office scanned the packages as delivered to PO box instead of the actual scan, so they now show delivered in less than 24 hours. This has happened to me before, the packages all got delivered, but they do not show any additional scans, so the buyers think they are getting scammed. How can I assure the buyer that they will get their orders?

Buyer,
When the post office scanned in your package they had the scanner set to 'delivered' instead of 'accepted'. This is a common USPS error and the package is currently en route to the address you provided at checkout. Give it a few days and I'm sure you'll see more tracking scans populate as the package moves along in the system. If you have any more questions let me know.

Tell the buyers that the post office had the wrong setting on their gizmo. Tell them that in a day or two, they will see updates to the tracking # and they can clearly see that the packages are on their journey to their new homes. Let them know that sometimes, the post office makes this error and to relax.
