"I realize Covid is a factor of course, but I also wonder how many employees got so frustrated they
just up and quit"
I was talking to my now ex-carrier and he said the PO is still behind and not operating anywhere
near the volume they used to do.
It is a combination of the virus and people quitting. There are times I suspect my current carrier
just skips the route I am now if she runs late or is sent elsewhere.
I have dropped the post office for any sales not ebay. My only problem is dealing with Hawaii
and Alaska as UPS is brutally expensive for those 2 states. I have decided to stop shipping
to both for the time being.

I have had thing go fast - from coast to coast. Also have things get stuck.
I hear the jam ups in the Midwest and East Coast have not been cleared and can effect current mailings as the backlog is worked off.

Unreliable everywhere. We live in Utah and we have lost shipments and late shipments.

Post on NPR today said they are generally short 12 postal workers daily for their routes, older tenured workers retiring in droves, and cannot hire enough or keep enough people. They will be unreliable for a long time.

Accounts on "time away" since Dec 9.
Only 3 shipments done recently.
One sale got in in the overnight hours when I failed to renew the time away quickly.
2 sales were done as "send offer" in response to buyer questions while the accounts were closed.
Shipped Jan 14, 15, 19. All delivered OK, but they were only going 1-3 states away.
Shipment from Dec 9th is still among the missing in Miami with the last scan on Dec 20.
