Please don't use FedEx for deliveries.
I made a purchase and I paid for both the item the the delivery. The delivery was actually more expensive then the product itself. After a while a got extra bills from Fedex that claimed that I have to pay more than the double sum extra (compared to what I paid for the product). I have been in contact with both customs authority and other government authorities in Sweden and they have all given the same answer: Fedex don't have the right to send this unannounced bills after all the expensies already have been paid. I have got bills from collection companies that still require me to pay. This has given me a lot of trouble. See further experiences from other users here:

The shipper is shown on every listing. Instead of telling sellers who not to use, just don't buy from sellers who use FedEx.

While the cost of shipping bears no direct correlation to the price of the item, I have no way of knowing how laws of your country look on shipping charges.  I would, if I were you, always make sure to check with the particular seller to make sure that they are not using a method of shipping that you do not want prior to making your purchase.

Both FedEx and UPS charge brokerage fees.

@jonas28143 and to add what takikawa4 said, those fees are billed along with the shipping insofar as I know, which is why I do not use FedEx for international shipping.  I believe there is a little bit more to this post that is missing.
