Please Help!

The seller, me, sold an item and buyer received it and is unhappy with it.  The Buyer offers me half the price he paid OR a complete return.  I started the return process in ebay, HOW do I cancel this and accept the partial refund???

I hope this makes sense, it keeps disappearing lol.

Any guidance would be SO appreciated!  Thank you for reading!

Re: Please Help!

First, you never 'start' a return process from items you sell, that is for the buyer. So, close that return (not even sure how you were able to open in the 1st place).

2nd, have the buyer open a 'return case', then you can 'offer 50% and if he accepts, you pay, it's closed.

But the big question is- why are you willing to take 50% instead of getting it back and reselling for full price?

Re: Please Help!

If the buyer is unhappy with their purchase, they need to open a return request using the appropriate reason for the return.  Depending upon the type of return opened and your return policy you would then proceed from there.  If a NAD return, you will be required to pay the return shipping.

The buyer cannot offer you a partial refund.  He is asking for you to give a partial refund.  I would advise against doing it and simply refund upon receiving the item back even if you have to pay the return shipping for the return.

I also advise that you put the buyer on your BBL.

What type of return request did the buyer open?
