Hey guys, the account settings pages have all changed so much that I can't figure out where to change this setting.
My goal: Unlink my PayPal account for purchasing shipping labels, then link a new one.
I found out where to unlink PayPal in settings, but that only affected my ability to use PayPal as a buyer. I can't find where to unlink PayPal for purchasing shipping labels.
I went to the shipping label purchase page and switched it to MP pending payouts then back to PayPal, but the original PayPal account is still linked.
Anybody have a clue on this one?

This change is made on Paypal, not eBay.
Log in to the old Paypal account & navigate to the pre-approved payments or automatic payments page.
Terminate any for eBay Inc Shipping.
Doing so will unlink the old Paypal account from the eBay label purchase process.
Now the next time you go to purchase a USPS label, you will be required to log in to a Paypal account in order to complete payment. Log in to the new Paypal account. You will also have to check off that box authorizing this & ongoing label payments.
Please note that this step has to be completed while using a pc browser, not a mobile app. You can use the app for future labels.

Sorry, my initial thoughts won't work.

I use shipping/business policies and there's nothing in them to set up a payment method for shipping labels.

thank you for this information. I am curious to find out if there is a way to pay for the shipping labels other than being linked to PayPal. Since we are doing the managed payments through ebay now, I am constantly having to transfer money to PayPal to cover the shipping label cost. Am I double paying? I can't seem to find a breakdown of payments and charges on my ebay account so I can see if I am getting the shipping credited to my payout amount.

Sellers who use Managed Payments have the option of using their Paypal account or their Managed Payments funds to pay for thei USPS shipping labels.
If you wish to use your Managed Payments funds ...
The next time you purchase / print an eBay Shipping label, look on the lower/left side of the page to make the switch from Paypal.

Any help you can give me on how to do a partial refund? I used to do it through PayPal. But since the managed payments, I cannot - for the life of me - figure out how to do partial refund.
Thank you in advance.

Do you use the Seller Hub?
If so, go to All Orders & locate this particular item.
To the left there will be different options of what you can do:
Leave feedback, print shipping label, issue refund, etc.
Select Issue Refund & on the next page you can
-select the reason for the refund
-input the amount that you want to refund (eBay will automatically refund the appropriate amount of sales tax if necessary)
-send the buyer a note if you want
complete the process.

Again, thank you so much for your assistance. Once you explained it, it seemed so simply. Like…how come I couldn't figure it out????
Anyway, I was able to do that partial refund. I have a happy customer.

Why would I want to unlink my PayPal account then need to log in to PayPal again to pay for a label? I want to pay for labels from my Bank Account. That is why I unlinked my PayPal account from ePay in the first place.
I was forced to change to managed payments meaning my payouts go to a bank account and not PayPal but eBay still charged my labels cost to PayPal.
It sounds a bit screwed up to me. I think the process was thought out by someone who does not sell on eBay.

@kare-bearb Since you seem to know how to do all this with label payments. I have an issue that I asked Paypal to try to do for me. They claimed to change the settings for me and say "it'll take up to 48 hrs" but it was never implemented. So here it goes:
I want to have ebay shipping label purchases pointed to my Paypal to pay for. But I don't want paypal to pull from my available paypal balance. I want Paypal to charge my credit card on file. I have this set like this for when I purchase things on ebay (I've had it set like this since way before MP). Is it possible to have this same setting for postage labels?

Since your eBay listings use Managrd Payments, I assume you have funds coming into your Paypal account from other sources. Sorry, but I know of no way to side step your available balance when paying for shipping labels.
Have you considered opening a Personal Paypal account & using it for your shipping labels?
Link your intended creedit card.
