 This came in and it now says it was delivered on Friday. But the case is still open and EBay hasn’t released funds yet. . The First message stated it was delivered to a parcel locker on August 26. On September 3 is when she told the post office she never received the package, but now it says it was delivered on the 3rd. I know what a locker is,, I worked for the post office for 33 years, I am thinking it wasn’t left in the locker, maybe a notice was left . And then they couldn’t find it, when she went to pick it up, but then it was found?? Idk, it’s all confusing.. thank-you all so much for your replies. I have been selling on EBay for quite awhile and this is the first mishap I ever received.  Everyone here has been helpful to me.

I HAd one of these happen to me as  a buyer. The postman in my area put the package in somebody else’s receptacle. This can happen. Not saying this is what happened to this customer because we do not know that. My neighbor brought the package to me. I filled a complaint with my postmaster regarding the sloppy job. In these cases, you must try to see if the post office can get that carriers GPS scan of where that package was put. In the case of a community mail receptacle thatmight be an awfully hard thing to show since if it was left in the general location it will show that. Keep pushing the PO to find out where that package was put. No excuses for a sloppy delivery.

You need to find out which type of locker, Was this a PO BOX locker, or a community  box locker?

Genrally when the delivery scam says delivered you should be off the hook for these types of cases because unless you can show that this was misdelivered you cannot file an insurance claim. you cannot fight a case like this. Some buyers file these becuase maybe they are really misdelivered. Some can file these because they are trying to scam you. Ebay should accept that the package says delivered. But who knows what they are doing with these cases noe so get on the phone with Ebay and find out what to do before you proceed. You do not want this buyer to open a chargeback.
