Hello,

It's my first order on ebay so I ran into troubles.

I bought a pair of shoes two weeks ago, from Australia. I am from Romania, Europe.

So, today, while I was reading some info on the Romania Post website, I found out that, when the parcel will reach the border, I must pay VAT + custom duty + another taxes. The price of the product will almost double.

All my previous orders were placed in the European Union, so I did not have to pay VAT and I was left with this idea for this order.

I would like to know if there is a possibility to return the product even if it has not yet reached its destination and may not have reached the border with my country either.

Since Australia is not part of the EU, the VAT will apply. There is no way to return the item while it is in transit. Once it reaches and you fail to accept it, you will most likely lose your money.
