Paid for UPS Ground (more expensive shipping) but seller still shipped via USPS Ground Advantage?

Normally I wouldn't care but because USPS has been absolutely horrible as of late with packages being lost for weeks and even months, I specifically PAID the extra shipping costs knowing UPS is more reliable and has better customer service. It was additional for the shipping which I was okay with because I would actually like to get my package and don't trust USPS to even deliver mail. The seller claimed to have shipped my package on Saturday but it wasn't picked up until Monday and it was supposed to be delivered today but it still hasn't even left the origin sorting facility, a whole four days later. Is there anything I can do to get the shipping money back since the seller refused to ship it via UPS despite me covering the costs?

Re: Paid for UPS Ground (more expensive shipping) but seller still shipped via USPS Ground Advantage

eBay considers UPS Ground and USPS Ground to be the same.

The seller can choose either.

If you had picked Priority and the seller shipped Ground, that is not allowed.

I would message the seller and let them know that you would like to be refunded shipping because the seller shipped USPS and not UPS, which is what you picked.

IF the seller doesnt refund, and they dont have to, your choices are to leave FB or do a return request once you get the item.
