Packing Slips and Shipping Labels printing really really small

Hi All,

Today I started to fill orders received yesterday and when I go to print a shipping label and a packing slip they print out really really small - just a little small print in the upper left hand side of the paper. Saturday morning everything worked fine, now today it is messed up!

Anyone else having this issue? I've tried 2 different printers and I get the same results. Other documents print just fine, so I assume it is an eBay problem....

Thanks

If you are printing via a browser, most browers have a scaling feature that can reduce or enlarge what is getting printed.  My guess is that this is what is happening ... when you print, just change the scaling, and whatever scale you use will be remembered for future print jobs.

Re: Packing Slips and Shipping Labels printing really really small

Thanks for the info, however I don't see where there is a way to do that.

I did spend 90 minutes (!) with 'support' and they have no idea what is wrong either. Finally he asked what browser I was using and I said Firefox. He then wanted me to try Chrome, but I don't have that one installed. I then tried Internet Explorer and - guess what - it worked!

Apparently eBay has done something to their pages that is messing up Firefox. I really dislike Explorer, but I guess I will have to use it for shipping label and packing slip printing.

Nothing has changed on my computer since Saturday when Firefox worked just fine...no updates, deletes, etc.

Just another wonderful Monday morning!!

Re: Packing Slips and Shipping Labels printing really really small

I found the problem....I had forgotten that I had installed an update to Java, so I rolled the computer back a few days using the restore point functiions in Windows 7.

Now everything is working just fine, the way it was before.

If you are using FireFox to print your packing slips and shipping labels, DO NOT allow Java to update!! Obviousily the Java update is incompatable with FireFox, at least when it comes to printing eBay labels.

FYI...
