I bought some things from two different French sellers last month. The first one gave me a tracking number, which read the package left France on Nov 26 but later it lost track. In normal case, I can keep track again on the package with that number on the site of my local postal service when it arrives in my country. It's been almost a month but I still can't get the info on my local postal site... The second package from another French seller haven't arrived either.

I saw someone in a local forum complained about the same thing. I'm curious if it happens to anyone here. Or anybody knows any news about shipment in France...

It's chaos everywhere. The only suggestion I have is to watch the estimated delivery dates as set by ebay, and after these dates to file an Item not received (INR) case(s). The sellers will probably ask you to be patient, which is OK, you do not have to escalate these cases but do watch ebay deadlines they set during the process. If you are asked to respond by a certain date, make sure you do, otherwise ebay computers may decide in seller's favor.

The packages might have been insured by the seller, so in case they are forced to refund, you can assure them you will pay them back after you receive your order.

I mail a lot form USA, there have been substantial delays but so far I only refunded on order (actually to France) that hasn't arrived after 7 weeks.

The bottom line is, you need to be patient but make sure you file INR when appropriate so you don't lose your money.

Be patient. A month from overseas is too fast nowadays. Your packages are probably sitting somewhere in New York waiting for customs processing. This summer, I waited for over 4 months from Europe, which was supposed to be here in 5 days.
