I have a zero feed back customer who must have made a mistake with their address. The item attempted delivery and failed because no such number. I received the item back, now the buyer wants me to send it to another address.
We don't ship to an address not registered on ebay, so I requested the buyer to update his address and I will go ahead and cancel the order. Now here is the problem.
I tried to cancel the order and ebay is only giving me an option to return 100% of the payment. The shipping costs as same as the item price (very far away and heavy item), so if I was to cancel this way I'd be at 0 profit.
If I try to refund partially, just the item cost and maybe the tax. I am out of Ebay fee and still open to "item not received" case being opened by the buyer.
Is there anything that can be done with this issue?

@lonelylovables123. Ask the buyer for their PayPal email address and send them an invoice to pay for the shipping to the correct address. This is not considered an offsite transaction since the sale already took place you are allowed to share contact information.
If they file an item not received case you would win since tracking shows attempted delivery that you were given at checkout.
