Hi. In my last two won auctions, two different sellers have canceled my orders for "Problems with shipping Address"
My ebay and paypal accounts are from Argentina, but my shipping address is in Miami, FLA. I never had a problem with ebay purchases nor shipments.
The last two sellers claimed "not to ship internationally." Now I know that there may be some kind of problem with my account.
Anybody?
Thanks!

No problem with your address is you are using the FLA address; but many sellers know of issues with this FLA and a CALI 'repacker' that collects items and ships them internationally; also there's the issue when buyers have an a problem with the product (arrives broken, doesn't work, missing parts etc.)- this all becomes a problem for the buyer as the seller only has to provide shipping label to the original location; meaning you would have to ship the item back to the seller on your dime. Bottom line to all this, many sellers just don't want to deal with international purchases.

There's nothing wrong with your account. Apparently there's a number of sellers to who don't like selling to buyers who use freight forwarders. Too bad there's no way for you to know which ones don't want to sell before you buy the item.

You do realize that the correct abbreviation for Florida is FL rather than the obsolete version FLA, right? Of course, I suppose it is the zip code that really matters.

Thanks for the tip. And you're right that it doesn't matter. I'm used to write it that way because of a Lou Reed's song.

Give 'em a break. They don't live in the US. 🙂
