ebay is showing ship date of monday nov. 12th. the is a federal holiday!

Yes Monday November 12 is a Govt holiday for Veterans Day Observed and the post office is closed.  Most state and county jobs still have to work but not federal.

Despite it being a USPS holiday, eBay is offering sellers a label date of Monday.

My bank is closed as is the government offices in my county.

While the front doors to the post office are open it does not mean that the post office is accepting and scanning packages. My post office is open so people can get their mail from their post office boxes but all of the recepticals are locked shut.

But some Post Offices, including sam's,  are open for retail business 365 days per year.  Mostly near airports and other major transport centers. Here's mine:

My post office usually has three clerks at the front desk selling postage and scanning packages.
