Not receiving items

This is was my 1st time buying from ebay. This was a bad expericence. I have not recieved my item, I have open case, just for the seller to tell it has been mailed. I never recieved it. I been to USPS and it was delieved to a parcel locker, but I guess not at my address. I'm asking for a refund. I have re-checked my address to make sure it was corrected. It was. Bottom line I will never order from Ebay again. I will stick to Amazon!

Re: Not receiving items

I am also not recieving items, this is the second time the usps claims it was delivered but I never recieved it. I don't underestand how they are allowed to leave packages  either on the street or in an unsecured lobby. If shipping is guaranteed than why doesn't the seller start a claim with the post office? How do I get any compensation for this. I'm an excellent purchaser for many years with perfect history but I'm not going to continue buy or pay for items that I have no gaurantee of recieving. Ideas anyone?

USPS is allowed to do this because recipients actually do have a choice of where they want items delivered.    If you don't want your items left by your door/porch, then you need to let USPS know that you want all packages held for pick-up.    You can do this online or at your local post office.     Some buyers have packages shipped to their workplace or other alternate address.    Once USPS scans something as "delivered", the seller has done their part.

I'm confused, is the parcel locker yours?  Or the Post Office confirmed for you that your package was sent to some ramdom parcel locker that is not yours? If the parcel locker is not yours, and USPS knows where the package is...see if they can contact that person. Or contact the seller, and advise it was shipped to the wrong address.  This does not sound like the fault of the seller, or ebay.

Re: Not receiving items

Ebay has no control over the post office.  There have been many threads on here complaining about the PO routing package all over the country for weeks, and misdelivering.  There's a system issue.  The same thing can happen on any venue.  It's just like saying grandma sent you a sweater, but the post office delivered it a few streets down.  It's not grandma who delivered it to the wrong address.
