I have always wondered when you get a return and generate the label for the customer if it would be insured on the return trip? I received an answer from an eBay CS agent yesterday stating that it would NOT be insured and there is no way to include insurance when the seller generates the return label to the customer. If lost/misdelivered coming back to you the seller would be out $$$ and still have to refund the full $$$ amount. He explained that I would have to generate the label through USPS.COM or another third party shipper including the insurance then upload the tracking to the return case and forward this label onto the customer. I thought I would pass this on to any sellers that market expensive items on eBay. If anyone else understands a different way to accomplish obtaining insurance on a return or finds this different, please post. Of course, on any Priority return label, you would be insured up to $50. Have a good day!
