No tracking number but being delivered by fastway couriers

I was recently a victim of financial fraud after making multiple ebay purchases. One particular item is yet to arrive which is no biggie as it is still within the delivery time frame however the item was only listed as sent once I enquired about the item delivery and the seller has told me it is untrackable even though the listing states it is being delivered by fastway couriers. Should I be reporting this? Or is this just a really big coincidence? Has this happened to anyone else?

They can't file an item not received case since it is still within the delivery time.

There really is nothing to report at this point since sellers aren't required to provide a tracking number.  It is odd that a courier wouldn't have tracking available but it doesn't prove anything.  If it doesn't arrive by the latest est. arrival date, you can file a claim the day after that.

Report what exactly?  Sellers are not required to ship with tracking.  It is certainly and excellent idea, but it isn't a requirement.  

Since your item is not past due yet, just wait.  If it isn't delivered on time, then the next day contact your seller and see if they can assist you.  Or you may prefer just to open an Item Not Received claim.

Chances are you are fine.  Just wait to see it it gets delivered as you expect it to be.
