No tracking after customs clearance?

Hi all, I recently purchased an item from a seller in China.  It shipped almost immediately and I received a tracking number.  Once the item made it to the US and was cleared at customs, the tracking has stopped and I haven’t received any info for 6 days.  Is this normal and perhaps the item is just en route without any tracking?

Not unusual at all. Most of my experience has been 3 to 5 days after customs clearance, but if there is a large influx of shipments coming in things can start backing up at the distribution centers. I have been lucky lately, but I can remember times where it would be several weeks without an update in tracking, and then the item would just arrive without any announcement at all. 

If you do a lot of international buying, over time you will see just about everything that can happen.

Hiii, I wanted to ask how many weeks does it take for it to just show up? my package said cleared customs on the 8th of February and since then I haven’t heard anything and it’s supposed to be delivered by the 24th

It took my package a total of 17 days from payment to delivery.  After customs it took approximately 1 1/2 weeks to receive.
