No origin scan for multiple days after dropping off with USPS

I live in an area where our local post office encourages people to put pre-stamped packages into these rolling carts and not stand in the rather long lines year-round. Lately I’ve been having packages that will not origin scans showing they’ve been received for up to two business days after dropping them off. It’s causing unhappy buyers and late tracking/shipments. Is there any other solution besides waiting in the long lines for a receipt or to change the shipping to 3-business days to account for USPS not processing them? EBay won’t entertain helping you at all unless you have a physical receipt. Thanks for any advice.

I always wait and have my packages scanned and get that receipt.

Without that first scan or a receipt, you have no proof the carrier has the package.

Don't forget EBAY is no longer giving grace to late shipments "because USPS shipping has greatly improved". Huh? I have lost my first 3 shipments in decades since this announcement was published. Buy stamps and become self insured and save your self a fortune

I'm not sure where EBAY is getting their information, but the USPS is actually WORSE now than they were when COVID was causing delays and other issues.  My origin scans are taking a couple of days to update and all of my packages go through Greensboro, NC.  This location is now taking 2-3 days to process mail and causes many of my packages to arrive 2-3 days late.  Since I started selling in February, 2020, this is the worst performance I've experienced from the USPS.

How does one get the full attention of ebay so they know the USPS issues have NOT been resolved?

That's what I'm saying! It's MUCH worse after their announcement! It's unfortunate that eBay isn't helpful or more understanding. Hopefully after more people are affected they will start to notice. It's now day 3 and my packages have not been scanned in....

That's what I was trying to avoid...the lines make it not worth selling or using USPS as a carrier.

Call for pickup and have the pickup carrier scan them.

My local route carrier (very nice lady) will scan them when picking up the packages.

Just spoke with eBay: they said use another carrier and they won't assist with anything.

Our mail is delivered at 9-10pm some days and our customers love our same-day shipping option, and unfortunately relying on the postal service to pick them up isn't the best. But that's super awesome that works in your area, I'm starting to think it's just our local office. And also an election in a mail-in state only.

THE $ BECAUSE 1ST i HAD TO BUY IT AND NOW NOBODY BUT THE BUYER HAS THE $ AND THE RELIC.  THE ONLY WAY TO REMEDY THIS IS FOR THE MASSES TO BOYCOTT ANY AND ALL EBAY HOLDINGS, COMPANIES AND PARTNERS UNTIL THEY GET SUED TO THE POINT OF BANCRUPTCY. I WOULDN'T BUY, SELL OR RECOMMEND EVEN A PAPERCLIP FROM eBAY TO MY WORST ENEMY
