This is found under my "order details," under the "Posting & handling (estimated delivery*)" section. I've asked for an upgrade from economy to standard and the seller did not response to my request, I asked for a estimated delivery and no reponse from them, I tried for the last time asking for a "tracking code" and yet again no response from them. What can I do? I do not want to cancel, refund the order as it's a limited quantity book that i've been looking for. Now I am in the blind and there is no way of knowing the status of my book.

This is for the book from the uk? Sellers are not required to provide tracking..it may not be available from the UK to Malaysia with Royal economy shipping. You can not cancel your purchase. If you dont get the book within Ebays thirty day money back guarantee time alloted, file an item not received case.

To clarify.
The MBG is valid for 30 days past the Estimated Delivery Date (not from purchase date).

If the item has been paid for, there will be an estimated delivery date. ### I will amend that ... this seller seems to be able to bypass any delivery estimate ... *sigh* ...another "golden child" ... I'm not surprised, once I looked at the seller ID 😞
There's an asterisk (*) next to the word "varies" which means there is a notation of what that means somewhere else on the page. What does that notation say?
If this is the seller that you just got feedback from .... They are a huge megaseller.
That usually means no "upgraded" shipping or special requests ... They are simply too big of an operation to make exceptions in their shipping workflow. Their feedback indicates that they don't communicate very well at all. (The same as their US-based ID)
They are using Economy International Shipping. It shows me a rate of £4 to ship from the UK to Malaysia. The cheaper the service, the slower the delivery (no such thing as cheap and fast in the logistics world). Economy Shipping is usually by space availability. If there's no room on the transport, it waits until there is ... and if containerized, it will wait until the container is full before leaving the port of exit.
The wording on the P&P tab of their listings indicates that the delivery date "Varies for items shipped from an international location" ... They are shipping from multiple locations 😞 The Item Location does not have a city/town ... only "Great Britain, UK"
Royal Mail "International Economy" is a non-tracked service ...and according to the RM website:
International Economy is the affordable answer to posting overseas when you’re not in a rush. It’s easy to use and ideal for heavier items. Compensation is included and we aim to deliver your mail to:

So if I don't receive the book I ordered within 30 days of paying for the item, I can open a case and get a refund? The seller has however listed my item as "sent," I am guessing it's already shipped. Best I wait for 30 days and then decide whether to open a case with eBay?

It’s still the same. 30 days after the latest delivery estimate. If it’s a domestic sale then the latest delivery estimate is 7 days after purchase and I think 30 for an international purchase
