No Shipping Labels?

I am not a regular seller, so I might be posting something without proper knowledge, but I think this why we have these boards. In any event, I have sold a number of things over the years and just sold an item last week. This is the first time I didn't get a shipping label, I just got a USPS number. I took it to USPS and they didn't know what to do with it. I don't know what to do. I have an item I need to ship. Ebay has a doc showing when it plans the item to leave and if I ship it differently, then it really can't track when it goes or arrives.  It would then be up to the recipient to be honest about it. How do I get the shipping Label for my red laptop sale to print or be produced to complete this sale?

I'm confused. When you (purchased and) went to print a label, you got no actual mailing label? 🤔

Perhaps you can "re-print" from your sale.  Search for that.  I have had to re-print several times.  I hope this helps!

When you purchased your shipping label and received the tracking number, an actual label has to be generated. It may have saved as a pdf instead of automatically printing. Check your download folder to see if the label is there. You can also reprint any shipping label. Go to this item in your sold listings and select reprint this label. Best of luck to you....

Whenever in the past I sold something, I had a place to print a shipping label from. Right now, I have no shipping label. I am confused. Do I just now run to the post office and mail from them?

Is the order in your Seller Hub under Orders/Awaiting shipment? If so, there should be a hot button to the left of the Order to generate a shipping label.

Of course... you always have the option of mailing from the PO. If you use their label, come back and add your tracking number to the Order, using the drop-down to the left.

Important: If the order is in your Seller Hub under Orders/Awaiting payment... then you haven't been paid and a label won't yet be available. Now I wonder if you've been paid or not...??? Where exactly did you get said 'Tracking number'?

You have the best answer so far. Yes, it has been paid for.  No, I do not see a place for the shipping label. Even crazier now, ebay is telling me the item has been shipped!!! Okay, well said computer is in a box next to my left foot waiting for me to print off a label so I can get this sent. I just took a screen shot cause . . . well **bleep**! What is going on?

Let me add to this, the buyer has sent his payment. Every other time when this happened in the past, I had a shipping label (after payment was received) . This time, payment is sent and no label. I have done the same thing here as every other time. What is going on? Oh and Ebay has also listed this as sent and I have not sent it!

So to add to the strangeness here, ebay has listed this as shipped. I still have this thing, it's been paid for and no shipping label? What is going on? I'd like to send this to the nice person who has paid for it. I think I send it on Monday. What am I doing wrong? How can I get this straight?

Go to this page and find the order @3z3ki3l2517. Then choose the option to reprint the label from the actions drop-down on the left.

Don't panic. I think that there is  a label somewhere, or eBay wouldn't have marked it as 'Shipped'. Click the link ("this page") that @wastingtime101 refers to. Do you see a hot (blue) drop-down menu to the left of the order?

I do see that page and went to the item, but no shipping label. I am starting to wonder if I listed it wrong. I did it more or less the same way I listed the others (from my recollection). I sent an email to the buyer letting him know I am having a problem. Another item I listed sold and I have a shipping label for it already! I am stuck.

eBay will show shipped as soon as you purchase a label. That is how it works.

If the tracking # is checked it will say label created, not yet in carrier possession, or carrier awaits shipment, or something like that.
