New Shipping Procedure Ridiculous!

So now you can't print using a USPS label until 48 hrs. post sale when funds get credited to account? And you can't add funds to your account to cover USPS labels as well. This is insane!

Thanks Ebay for screwing things up when you didn't need to.

Re: New Shipping Procedure Ridiculous!

you can use ebay shipping as soon as they pay.......just use pending payout to pay for the label

you can also use paypal to pay for the labels.

wehn you go to print a label ther is a check box at bottom with info about how you want to pay for labels in the future.shipping with MP is just as easy as it ever was

Re: New Shipping Procedure Ridiculous!

Hi @gophergolden

That would be both ridiculous and insane ... if it were true ... which it's not.

You're able to purchase a shipping label on eBay as soon as you receive a notification from that you've been paid ... and have the choice of paying with either PayPal OR the pending payment.

[Actually, you can purchase a shipping label from PayPal before you've been paid ... but, of course, you won't know the buyer's ship-to address at that time, so it would be foolish to do it then.]

Sure you can. You don't have to front the money or wait for the buyer's payment to reach your bank before shipping. Just set your Shipping form to draw the postage from the buyer's pending funds. You will find the setting for that at the lower left corner of the Shipping form.

The funds themselves are not "pending;" it's the transfer to your bank that's pending. eBay already has the buyer's payment, which is why you can use a portion of it to purchase the shipping on-line.
