Do the people who decided how this page works, ever really ever tested it or used it. I was a programmer for years and would never have presented this as user ready. Right now this is a "programers program", not a "users program" What happened to purchasing the label and then go right to printing it? The Download label and Save label buttons do what differently? The Save label does the same as download but leaves a dead webpage. The download label requires why too many steps to finally get to where you need to get to. Besides that, it leaves you with all the now un-needed .pdfs that you will have to delete at some point. What was wrong with the old way, it was nice and simple. They have other things that dont work right, and then instead of putting resources into that, they have to screw around with something that was fine, maybe just needind a little tweaking. Then they throw the **bleep** out here for us users to get frustrated about. So now we have to spend all of our time **bleep**ing about it for months until maybe, just maybe they will do something. Also, do I need 2 emails for every item I ship? The emails contain no information about the item that the label pertains to. No way to cross reference or audit what you paid to ship a specific item. They need in that email besides the obvious, to list the item number, item description, weight and size. Now with the USPS checking, you have no trail if they charge you for an item that they claim was underweight. There is no trail at all, unless you write it down on paper. When I was a programmer, If I ever released a program page like this, I would have been hung by the users, if not fired. Multi billion dollar company releasing this is very sad.

I was frustrated this morning to find that the "classic shipping" page was no longer available, and I had 15 packages to ship. I figured I'd make the best of it, and somewhat to my surprise, it actually went fine. I did prefer the visibility to more info on one page in the old system, but what I really needed was there. I don't like the way size and weight is specified, though I did use one flat-rate box, and it was useful to make use of the tab for the shipper specific packages. I did not find any need to "download" or save anything. I just bought the label, then printed it, and it worked fine. It brought over my preferences to not print the postage value on the label, and to print the Ebay item number on it. That all worked fine. I didn't understand the part about the two e-mails. What were you trying to do? I used pre-scored adhesive backed labels when I'm packaging in boxes that allow full-size labels. When I used the settings to scale it to one page, it was not centered perfectly, but good enough. The label printed on the top half of the page, and the little receipt, containing the title, to and from addresses, postage paid, and tracking info printed on the bottom, which I peel off and stick on one copy of the packing slip for my records. That still has all the info I want for my records. For smaller packages, I could still scale down to 82%, which is what I use on the 6X4X4 boxes, and that worked fine. While I don't see anything that will help me much, I didn't find anything that will hurt, either.
