In 20 years selling on ebay, I have never seen an update as bad as the new shipping format. For the life of me, I can't see how this is an improvement in any way. The classic format was so simple to use. Everything was on one screen and you could choose any shipping option using the drop down box. With this new format, you have to constantly scroll up and down and click on tabs to see all the options.
To make matters worse, the international rates have gone up. The last rate increase was in January and I find it hard to believe that ebay and USPS negotiated a new deal just as this format was rolled out. A package I shipped to Australia last week had a discount of 19%. Today it is 4%. First Class Packages went up about 10% and Padded Flat Rate Envelopes up from $33.85 to $34.85.
No one likes nor wants this new format. Please give us the option to switch back to the old format !

I totally agree & have complained to ebay via messages & phone call. Don't think they're listening...as usual.

Use it for awhile. It is just different, not harder to use.
Everything is still one page so I don't know what you are seeing that would make that not so.
The options are all there.
It really is just as easy as the old. Really.
I didn't like it at first either and I still don't care for the default that pops up. I just ignore that and select the options I need for that sale.
As with everything, a change raises hackles. Sometimes needlessly. Since we all knew for a long time it was going to be mandatory, maybe we should have gotten used to it before the "OMG the old is gone" panic.

hi, ebay and their lackadaisical (spelling?) implementation and policies will only act in their own and buyer's interests (definitely a seller-beware environment); but be that as it may the BEST I CAN RECOMMEND THAT MAY EVENTUALLY HELP SELLERS IN EVERY SITUATION IS .... click on my ebay (top right) to the summary page ... just below it is a ' ... tell us what you think' link. click it each and every time you log into ebay and complete the info.
maybe just maybe if you tell them enough about issues, and include proposed solution .... ebay might make an actual attempt to fix issues. (it is the only feedback method i can find for all of their mostly if not completely erroneous and flakey implementation methods and policies
