In December Ebay switched us to the new shipping program, we had been using the GSP with no problem for years. Since Ebay switched us we have not had any international sales due to the items we sell not being eligible for the new program. This loss of sales is having a direct impact in a negative way. Ebay either needs to return us to GSP or allow our items to be sold using the new International Shipping Program.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

@citrusoutboardrecycling what items do you sell? curious why eis would limit sales when gsp did not....

OK...so I am not the only one that is going crazy trying to disseminate EIS...
I coasted along with GSP for years and had good results...
I was automatically switched over a few weeks back.....
I have 2 'nearly identical' items in the same category...
1 offers EIS and the other does not......it is baffling
the inconsistency (qualifying?) runs through all my listings on that account

They are selling in the ebay motors category. According to ebay, used items in that category can't be shipped through EIS. The 11 items they have that are new appear to be using EIS.

Is the problem on a different ID? Under this ID all of your items are still using the GSP

We Sell Used boat parts and under EIS anything under Ebay motors that is a used part is excluded from EIS, it was allowed under GSP.
Ebay switched us and has yet to do anything to fix this issue and it really is hurting our sales

Yeah I understand that our category is not part of EIS, but why switch us when now we are losing sales, not was not a good move for them to do to us, I spoke with the EIS team before the switch and told them what we sold and we have been on Ebay for a long time and they should of not switched us or come up with a way we would not loose all this business.

I don't know you are seeing our items under GSP, as If I look at at any of them they state on shipping to the US.

The post about gsp was to another poster. But you did have 11 items that were showing under EIS because those items were listed as new. Now it looks as if you are using UPS. Note that using ups may cause some problems with international customers as couriers charge brokerage fees and some other extra fees upon delivery.

Aaarrgg...... My first thought was that we will be limited because EIS caps all sales to $500! We regularly sell higher value items globally because naturally if the item is rare- its worth more and worth shipping around the globe........I guess it wont matter anyway because we sell mostly in ebay motors/parts & acc - used categories.
I spoke with a merchant support agent and they confirmed that our item "may" still be visible internationally BUT they will get a notice if they try to buy that the item cannot ship through EIS and they should contact buyer to arrange shipping.......... She said we would have to do it ourselves! with no protections, no shipping to a local hub, 100% risk assumed by the seller....... isnt this going backwards 15 years - AGAIN? The GSP works flawlessly and now its being replaced prematurely leaving sellers out to dry.

I am only using the UPS option for Canada as I cannot be without those sales and I really do not have a choice currently. I wish I had another option.
