Folks I'm taking the time to put this response to warn you to never use or trust eBay they ripped me off for $195 I made a purchase and they somehow the computer shifted my address they have the right number but they shifted it to another state I immediately tried to contact the seller there was no way to contact the seller because I was a guest and not a member and it took three or four days to finally get through to him and they had already shipped the product and would not do anything to help me but the bad part about this is I notify eBay right away to get a hold of the seller and some idiot on the phone said he could have post he make a note of it well all he had to do is contact the seller and let him know but eBay would not take the effort and I talked to three or four customer service and they would do nothing and then they denied my claim after they were the ones who made a mistake and would not correct it it would not reimburse me I will never use eBay again I've never ever had that type of problem on Amazon and others services and I want to warm people that eBay has changed from the day so it used to cooperate with us and our bunch of stingy inefficient administration and do not trust them.

Wow.. I'm sorry that happened.. It's actually very common with those that have moved and forgot to update the ship to.
Yours is different though.. Usually the system will (flag) not only you but the seller as well, showing "Invalid Address". It should've never matched the carriers database. It was just the state that changed?
Verifying the shipping address is the single most important thing for buyers. What happen to you would've been same on any ecommerce platform, not just eBay.

Key word "guest". I don't think I would let someone use my account. And I don't see any activity on this said account.

So, what you are saying is that I should shut down my account that pays my bills and feeds my family because you had a problem?
I'll get right on that.

Here's how to get help with an item if you purchased it as a guest (without signing into your eBay account).
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065
If the seller shipped the item to the wrong address, then you would be protected. Unfortunately, if you accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, I'm afraid that the risk is on you. Neither eBay nor the seller have any responsibility in that situation. You are responsible to make sure that the shipping address is correct.

First of all I had the right address after I did the order somehow the computer changed it to a different state I didn't do that I immediately tried to contact the seller to let him know they would not accept any communication because I wasn't a member and it took days until I could get to him so that's not my fault the seller had a page on eBay and had a link that did not work it's not my deal I got the attorney general of New Mexico now intravening it's nonsense and the other thing is I told eBay immediately afterwards that that happened it was the wrong address and the guy says what I can't contact about put I'll put it on the board I put it on notice responsible and I'm going to hold them accountable even if I have to take him to court it's very unprofessional how I was treated by eBay in the cellar it's not my fault it's their fault s.

I'm sorry, but computers are really, really dumb. A computer is not smart enough to change the state in a mailing address. If that happens, it means that a PEBCAK error occurred (problem exists between chair and keyboard). The big question is, which end of the transaction had the PEBCAK error.
