Has anyone had this happen and how was it resolved. she didnt open a return or contact us, just sent the item back to KY.. eBay hasnt contacted us about the package and she said she hasnt gotten any emails.   Looking for some pointers before i call eBay back

Hi, Did you receive your money back yet? Was a case opened? I would wait till a case is opened 1st, then ask E-bay. Good luck everyone!!!

I would owe her money once I get the item back and no, she hasn't opened a case.

Since buyer didn't open a return and just shipped it back to the GSP, buyer might be out of luck on a refund, I'm  not sure.

Have a great day.

Where is the buyer located? Does the tracking show that the package was refused?

I don't know how it works in other countries but in Canada a gsp package gets sent from Kentucky to a hub in Canada. If a package is refused, the return address is the Canadian hub so apparently a return to sender package would go there, not to Kentucky.  Based on other posts I've read, the package is then untraceable or at least the gsp doesn't give out any info about it.  I find it odd that a package would go back to the US rather than the hub in the other country.

Generally if a buyer refuses a package or if it shows return to sender, the buyer is not covered by the MBG because the item was delivered.  The same is true for the gsp.

Did the buyer open a return before shipping it to the GSC?

If not - you're not required to send a refund.

If yes - did you create the return label? If the buyer didn't use the label provided you wouldn't be required to send a refund either.

If you did create the return label, it should have been addressed to you directly. As far as I know the GSP doesn't handle returns at all.
