Hi
I wonder whether anybody can advise on the following, I purchased on ebay a fairly expensive item and after waiting a considerable period contacted the seller who informed me the item had been delivered and provided the tracking reference.
I contacted the courier company who advised me the item was deposited inside by green recycling bin, no calling card or email was left or sent. The idea of placing an item inside a recycling bin is just madness as the courier would have no idea when the bin is collected it could easily have been half an hour later or the following week.
The courier informed me that the only way to seek some form of compensation would be for the sender in this case the seller to make the claim - the seller refuses to and states that as far as he is concerned this the end to the matter leaving me over £170 down - ebay have closed the case, other than posting a bad review on the sellers page, can anybody advise what the next step could be.

If tracking shows delivery, there is no recourse..you've checked with neighbors, etc?The seller cannot make a claim.

And why would you leave the seller a negative feedback? He did his job..and once he shows tracking and delivery to Ebay, they will remove it..which they should.
