Miss-use of Priority Mailers

ARGGG. I just got my latest auction win. Media Mail with 19 Priority Envelopes used as packing materials. And no not a single one was previously used (though that doesn't matter), and NOT A SINGLE one will be able to be used.

I will definitely be reporting this seller to his Post Office tomorrow.

I honestly don't get the POINT of the sellers that do this. Apart from the stealing free supplies aspect, bubblewrap is not THAT expensive.

Well gosh, I wonder who that might have been? (smirk)

Too bad he sent this parcel to a USPS carrier, eh?

I have had a few of these. Don't bother telling post office, they don't care and don't want the extra work. Most POs now have them behind the counter and one has to ask for them.

NOT SO I work for USPS and we DO CARE.

Then how about caring enough to stop loosing so **bleep** many of my below $25 shipments! PAYBACK

Plus all you have to do is go to any retail store and talk to the employees there and you can get it for free.  We get TONS of it at my job.  If I didn't take it home with me, it would all just go straight into the garbage.  We've had people come in and ask us for our extra bubble wrap and boxes because they were moving and needed supplies and we were more than happy to give them all they wanted-- it was that much less for us to have to haul out to the dumpsters.

I have shipped thousands of packages ranging the full gambit of USPS mail classes. Literally I have had a few with visible damage, none with any damage to the items. I have had only one go missing for a short time and it was a LFRB, it went back and forth because the buyer had several COA's active. Oh and one LFRB (troop care package) that hopped a bit as the unit it was for was on the move. It arrived before the cookies went stale.

I too have shipped and received thousands of packages via USPS.  Not a single one of them has ever gone missing, not even the international ones.  (And I used to mail things to my friend in the Netherlands on a regular basis.)

If you are losing a lot of packages maybe it's because of the way you label them or pack them
