Managed Payment Issues

In February Managed Payments started allowing for labels to be paid for from Pending Payments. In early March they started enrolling Managed Payment sellers back into to the Global Shipping Program. These were two major hurdles (for me at least). However, in Mid-March (a week after I enrolled in GSP), my items were showing only US Shipping. About the same time, when I went to pay for domestic labels from Pending Funds it denied me with a  red font message reading, "Your pending payouts are not enough for this transaction"; even though there was an ample amount of funds from the sale. eBay Managed Payments Customer Service, while available via phone even during the coronavirus shutdown, offer no help. All they say is "We are aware of the issue and are working on it."  Emailing the Help section gets "canned" responses that read like the Help articles which have proven to be useless. And since there are less than 50,000 (that might be a high number) of sellers actually enrolled in Managed Payments, I feel like we are put on a backburner (especially in the current situation). And since the number of MP sellers is so low, what are the chances another one is going to read posts and have a solution? Well, I found the glitch in the GSP issue: edit your listing, go to shipping exclusions, keep the same criteria you have and save it (you don't have to change anything you don't want), then save the listing. For some reason GSP was defaulted to exclude every country in the world, even though they weren't checked off on my exclusion list, but when I went into the exclusion list (again, didn't change anything) and resaved them I was able to ship worldwide (except for the countries that are exlcuded due to GSP rules or those not shipping due to coronavirus). I still can't print shipping labels from Pending Payments...hope another MP seller, or someone within the eBay ranks can figure this one out for me. BTW, I've tried every browser (cleared history, cache, cookies, etc.,) and smartphone (mobile site and app), without success...and NO I don't want to ship using PayPal Funds, my Credit Card, or my Bank Account.

Managed Payment Issues

I can't address the GSP issue (but thanks for the tips!), as I haven't been invited back in.

But... "I still can't print shipping labels from Pending Payments...hope another MP seller, or someone within the eBay ranks can figure this one out for me. BTW, I've tried every browser (cleared history, cache, cookies, etc.,) and smartphone (mobile site and app), without success...and NO I don't want to ship using PayPal Funds, my Credit Card, or my Bank Account." To that, I can tell you...

The first time this option was available to me, the Shipping Label page actually 'shimmied' down by itself to a new field that allowed you to keep PayPal or change to Pending. It forced a choice, which is now the new default, but it can be changed manually with each label.

I never received notice... it just happened. Look for it way down at the bottom of the label page... maybe it doesn't 'shimmy' down anymore the first time. Hmmm...

Managed Payment Issues

I understand what you are saying. While Pending Payouts is my default, I can still get the page to let me choose from both options at the same time, but when I choose "Pending Payouts" and attempt to pay for the label I still get the "Your pending payouts are not enough for this transaction" message. This first occurred March 16th. I talked to Managed Payments Customer Service daily the whole week, only to receive the "We are aware of the problem and are attempting to fix it" response.  For the next two weeks I was paying up front, out of pocket for shipping again. Then on March 30th, I was able to use Pending Funds for one shipment. It took  about 10 seconds or so to process (way longer than usual), and the screen actually dimmed in an odd way... I thought it was going to be rejected. On March 31st, I was getting the "Your pending payouts are not enough for this transaction" message again. Called Managed Payments CS and they sounded surprised that I was able to use it the day before. Anyways, thank you for your response...all suggestions are welcome.

Managed Payment Issues

Hello,

I am in managed payments but I do not ship internationally so I'm not able to help you.

Perhaps if you start a post about this issue on the Managed Payments board or at the by invitation only Managed Payments Facebook Group someone will be able to address and hopefully resolve your issue.

Good luck!
