Mailing ball cards in smaller envelop

Hello,

This might be a stupid question but wondering....

When I sell cards I often use the 6x9'' bubble envelop or padded envelop.

I'd like to change to a padded envelop that is more symmetrical to cards which I see for sale on Amazon, etc. So about 4x6" size. I want to change as it fits some thin cardboard I can buy from Amazon to protect the cards.

I always buy my postage through ebay (pay by PayPal) and wondering do I just put in the smaller dimensions to get a label that fits the smaller envelop. Or is it considered an odd size? My UPS retail has the sticky pouches that fit the 6x9 print out but i'm guessing there is no pouch for the smaller 4x6 and I'll have to buy adhesive printout labels for my epson.

Any tips appreciated.

Al

When I try to buy postage for either size directly from USPS site - it's not available. Not sure why.

thanks,

Al

1st class package purchases (with tracking) done on ebay (or the USPS site directly) do NOT ask for dimensions for 1sst class packages, only weight.

Also, how can you ship a card by first class package and only charge $1?

You can always copy the big one, reducing the size to 50%, etc. Not cost-effective, but it'll get the job done.

You usually have print options that will allow you to scale the label down to the smaller envelop by percentage.
